]]> Just few months ago we were talking with The Wizards – Italian Black Sabbath Tribute about expanding into other regions of Italy. The project was started long ago (2006) by friends with a passion for the Black Sabbath sound. We weren’t thinking of making it into a touring act. Just a few days ago, though, we jumped at the offer to play in the nearby region of Emilia Romagna: it’s going to be our first time out of familiar territory. We are so excited that we might play “extra f***ing crazy”, like Ozzy used to say!

The madness will begin on August 3, 09:00 pm at Beer Stop Maranello in Maranello, the city where Ferrari HQ is located. I wonder if they’d like the paint job we used on our F1 car graphic for the gig posters 😉🤘💀

]]> It took a very long time for me to create a new band in Italy. God knows how many hardships musicians have to face in this forsaken country… but with the help of trusty bass player extraordinaire Ricky Palombo (yes, another Riccardo 🙂 ), ELECTRIC WAVES is finally a reality! 🎤🎸🥁 We are a cover band that performs a very broad repertoire of rock and pop from the 70s, 80s and 90s… and a few extras.

I am pretty invested in this band, since it’s allowing me to make a dream come true: this is officially the first project in which I perform live on keyboards and rhythm guitar (with a few solo spots) on top of singing!

We already have a few gigs lined up … and also a TEASER VIDEO for your delight, which you can find right below.

We can’t wait to start performing live this December the 23rd. By the way, please check the events page for more info on our next stops.

Hot damn! It really seems that someone heard me pray for career prospects lately.

Thanks a lot to the Italian rock band FLEMT for requesting  me to perform with them at their next show in April. It’s quite a big deal for a first gig: a festival in Reichebach, Germany on April 16.

Time is obviously short for me and I have the Electric Guitarlands tour that I am already committed to… but that doesn’t mean I won’t give my absolute best to this bunch of very dedicated musicians that put their trust in my abilities!

FLEMT entered the music business with a BANG in 2011, when they opened a show at Arena Parco Nord for american rock legends Bon Jovi. 2011 also saw the release of their first album. The rest of the 2010s was creatively uneventful, because of some lineup changes and a difficult integration of new members, though FLEMT always performed high caliber shows internationally.

I am looking forward to further expand my work relationship with FLEMT in the future, depending on how we click at our first show together. Once again, it’s time to get to work hard!
